Shropshire Council - Answers Please? Part 6

Well, I did say that my last post wouldn’t be my last moan about Shropshire Council, and I was right; it won't be, and as I keep seeing things, I can almost guarantee there will be more! What concerns me is this is what I am seeing within 500m from my house. Imagine if I were sad enough to get information from all over Shropshire.

The latest is this picture with the traditional white surround, which I will say ‘normally’ means that this is going to be dug up for repair. I have found out that when Severn Trent came to dig up the pavement recently, their paint marks were blue.

So, I could be wrong, and this may not be getting dug up for repair, but then why else would it have the white border, with no other information? I sincerely hope locals are not doing this for themselves in the hope that an uneven pavement might get repaired – God forbid, but I think I covered that one in my first post!

Anyway, here is the picture (no. 1) of the white-painted area that I think might be getting dug up for repair, and the rest are some of the potholes left by the repair team that came all the way from Preston last year to repair, or try to repair, our street pavement! Can you spot the difference? Because I can, and again, yes, again, who is taking responsibility for these decisions and the definitive waste of money?

In post No. 4 did I say that repair teams have been on the A4169, repairing, or attempting to repair, potholes; of course I did, because I wrote it, and lo and behold, a week later more white borders have appeared round potholes, some 2/300 yards away from where the repair team had been the week before! Have I mentioned wasting time and therefore money? I think I have.

Shropshire Council – can we have some answers, please?
